   Well. Sort of.   
      
   After 25 years of telling "You have ADHD" they prescribed some   
   medication for -- now get this -- for adult ADHD.   
      
   Gee I hope you were sitting when I said that...   
      
   Anyway, that "Adult ADHD" medication scared the piss out of   
   me because... cus I read the warnings & side effects!   
      
   I even saw a cardiologist and handed him the bottle, asked him   
   about it. He didn't think it would be a problem...   
      
   But the medication didn't work. Well it worked GREAT for weight   
   loss!   
      
   I lost about 10 pounds, mostly on account of it making me   
   feel nauseous enough to not want to eat.   
      
   Wait. This FUCTING SPELL CHECKER!   
      
   It underlined "nauseous," told me it was misspelled, but   
   couldn't suggest anything approaching the right word!   
      
   Know what it was?  I spelled it with an 'i' instead of an 'e'!   
      
   On letter. One vowel. That was too much for it..   
      
   Anyway, I tried the first medication, starting small & ramping   
   up over three months and, yeah, the only result was some weight   
   loss. I didn't notice any difference. I knew they'd ask on the   
   followup so I asked the roomie & he said he saw no difference...   
      
   Now I'm on this Crystal Meth stuff.   
      
   Fun fact:  The doctor prescribed it last Tuesday and I didn't   
   hold the pills in my hand before FRIDAY. Four days, because we   
   actually have to count Tuesday as they received the prescription   
   even before I got off the phone with the doctor!   
      
   insurance wouldn't cover it. CVS said it needs "Prior authorization"   
   so I called the doctors office. They called back:  We've gotten   
   prior authorization. CVS said "No," that the insurance STILL wasn't   
   taking it and they wanted $186.99.   
      
   For 14 pills.   
      
   This was a "Two Week Trial" for me. I'm LOUSY at taking pills, I   
   tend to be WAY over sensitive on this stuff, I got my ativan in   
   0.5 mg doses...   
      
   So $187 for 14 pills.   
      
   Let THAT sink in!   
      
   A little indy pharmacy said they'd be willing to fill it for   
   "Only" $95, btw. Still a massive shit ton of money considering   
   we're talking 14 pills...   
      
   And, wow. This stuff works. A little too good.   
      
   I was trying to get to the dentist, just outside of Chinatown,   
   and I took the pike. I was accelerating (hard) and changing   
   lanes, which isn't always a great thing to do because it's between   
   the lanes where the ice & snow clings on. Anyway, so the car   
   starts fishtailing. At highway speeds. On the Mass Pike.   
      
   "Were you scared?" TERRIFIED!  And I had a blast!   
      
   It was fun.   
      
   I was also very talkative today, and even apologized for it.   
      
   "I'm not usually this talkative," I explained," "But today I'm
