   So I need another one of your miracles:   
      
   The roomie is in something. No power, no control and   
   he really needs to be on some firm ground here.   
      
   And that Matt Gilbert you saved?  He's not out of the   
   words. Someone said today that this may be is giving   
   up... Matt.   
      
   He seemed mostly good yesterday. I went to go see him.   
   Looked like shit. They had a tube in his chest, apparently   
   added another one today, but they did remove the feeding   
   tube from his nose while I was there.   
      
   Year he's weak, can't even walk and barely eating..looks   
   to be about 15 pounds. AND, he got pretty obnoxious there!   
      
   Starting at 2pm he started getting loud and aggressive --   
   acting like a real asshole -- BECAUSE the nurse had   
   previously told him that he could get his methadone at   
   2pm, so the moment 2pm rolled around he was obnoxious.   
      
   You know how addicts get, right?   
      
   I tried explaining it to him:  It's just one nurse, she's   
   making her 2pm rounds and she's got to hit up some other   
   patients first.   
      
   "Don't make excuses for them!"   
      
   Anyway, so Matt woke up, he's alive and he's looking like   
   hell but, I think my roomie needs a Steven Miracle.   
      
   He's the happy go lucky one, as opposed to... well... you   
   know how I am. And he's not happy go lucky at all lately.   
      
   Big problems in his life.
