   I think that's overly simplistic.

Poppy Bush considered himself a moderate Republican.

And do keep in mind that even Richard Nixon could
qualify as a "RINO" today, or any Rockerfeller, or
   later Goldwater, Republican.

And if you want to chuck "RINO" at people:

Trump is currently the single most DEMOCRATIC
   politician in Washington!

He's prioritizing the housing crisis, called Pocahontas
about tackling credit card interest rates, taking on
drug prices... all things Democrats used to give a shit
about before the globalists took over.

Clinton's policies towards China created the
vulnerabilities that Trump is using against them right
   now.

If it matters though; I thought Clinton's policies were
a mistake and Dubya Bush's policies were a disaster.

You grant yourself too much credit.

They're far more old school "Diplomatic" than anyone
today. They smile and make kissy-face at each other, but
that's what you're supposed to do. Apart from the
occasional wingnut, EVERYONE was that way!

We had not reached that point yet. But by Dubya Bush, it was
clear that China had remained a rogue, even hostile nation.

...maybe we should have attacked north Korea, either
tricking China into going to war against us -- instead of the
   other way around.

Clinton's real failure was north Korea. All the experts told
him that they were on the verge of collapse so they came up
with some scheme where we were going to solve all their
energy problems, build them a revolutionary nuclear reactor,
in exchange for them abandoning their nuclear program. Well.
The "Experts" were wrong, north Korea held together despite
all the hardships and they eventually realized they were being
   scammed!

Bush should have attacked them, BEFORE the nuclear weapons
supposedly existed, and before any delivery systems were
   developed.

THAT might've drew in China, and we could have crushed them
BEFORE they got rich & powerful, or at least ended the
existence of one rogue nation that can never be trusted no
   matter what.

Now we've got at least TWO! China and north Korea...
