Which is one       reason why I was so angry -- NOT disappointed but       actually ANGRY at the Biden administration...              Anyway, so before the 2024 election one of the more       interesting AND USEFUL concepts I stumbled upon were       the folks who looked at polling histories, note any       bias and then interpreted the (pre election) 2024       polls ADJUSTING FOR those biases.              Some are biased in favor of Republicans, most were       biased in favor of Democrats.              NOTE: When I say "Biased" I mean they consistently       showed poll results ABOVE their actual vote numbers...              Above for the party they were biased towards.              Below for the party they were biased against.              And according to those adjustments, Trump was going       to win by a landslide. He was even going to win in       races that were supposedly going for Kamala.              MY ONE PROBLEM with all this is that Presidential       elections only happen once every four years. That's       plenty of time for people to start leaving a       corporation. And when you're looking back even 5       Presidential races, THAT'S 20 YEARS!              What percentage of a typical company quits, gets       fired, retires or dies within a 20 year period?              So I was a little skeptical that any bias could       remain tight over a statistically significant number       of Presidential elections.              But, the results did prove true.                                                 --       https://jtem.tumblr.com/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
