|    UPDATE on my Crystal Meth adventure    |
|    06 Mar 26 12:27:56    |
From: jtem01@gmail.com              Now this is weird.              I first filled the Crystal Meth prescription on the 23rd,       January 23rd, which was a Friday. But I didn't take it       on Friday. And I didn't take it on Saturday either.              This stuff lasts up to 14 hours, they claim, and I have       never ever been good at "Morning pills." I normally       wait until I eat something and I can go hours without       eating....              This Crystal Meth forced me to completely re-work my       routine.              I can't oversleep, because if I do I have to skip the       pill else be up all night. And I can't take it too early       because when it wears off I'm going to crash, or at least       feel tired, so I'll go to sleep too early...              This morning I was up around 6am, before 6:30 anyway, and       I wouldn't take the medication. I mean, 14 hours later       would have me falling asleep around 8pm! So when I looked       at the clock, "8am," I thought to myself. If I start       falling asleep at 10pm that's not too horrible...              Anyone, all totaled I worked out that I had skipped six       days. There were six days where I had the medication on       hand and didn't take it: TWO when it was first prescribed,       another two I intentionally skipped to test the problem       with blood sugars, then I skipped another day on purpose,       and then another later... six days total. But...              So CVS has been a massive bundle of issues. TWICE ALREADY       they pushed the medication through to the insurance company       wrong, and TWICE the insurance company rejected payment.              Anyway, they told me WHEN I could pick up the refill and       it just wasn't right. While I should have six extra pills,       the date they have me left me with two. So, thinking they       screwed everything up for the third time in a raw I went       down there, made sure they put it through to the insurance       correctly and... and...              And they told me, no, I can refill the prescription two       days later than when they originally said.              Holy Christ! That would leave me with ZERO leftover pills       and I should have six! Wtf?              Okay, it's not that I needed the extra pills. I am a       medication hoarder, at one point I had MORE THAN a       years worth of Ativan in the draw, for example, but I       don't NEED anything extra. Originally my primary concern       was that the mismatch was all about a third-in-a-raw       screw up on the part of CVS. BUT NOW my problem was that       if six days of medication is going to go >Poof< like       smoke into thin air, what happens when they do it next       month? Or the next month? Is this going to keep happening?       Am I going to lose almost a week's worth every month?              Some months?              What?              But to make things even stranger...              I got a text this morning that it's ready for pickup!              Early. Well. According to them it's early.. by six days!              So now we're on the exact right schedule?              Hmm?              AND I HAD TOLD THE DOCTOR SHE COULD TAKE ME OFF!              I was thinking she shouldn't even renew it...                                                 --       https://jtem.tumblr.com/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
