   You are thoroughly confused.   
   The Jews claim that like the JW's that Jesus was a mere man, and that from   
   what they heard Jesus say, that Jesus was "claiming to be God" and that was   
   the reason they sought to stone him. Which is what the JW of today would do   
   if Jesus were to in one of their meetings stand up and state that they were   
   the same as God.
