XPost: alt.bible, alt.religion.christian.biblestudy, alt.religion.christianity       XPost: alt.religion.christian.roman-catholic              >>Friend james wants to dismiss God's revelation on the nature and change in       >>life forms these paset 3.5 billion years.       >       >Actually 'James' just wants to go by the Holy Bible, which says that       >God CREATED all the different life forms. Those in the past, and those       >that are around today. God did not evolve them.              Maybe someday friend james will pay attention to what he reads; behold:        >       >But don't get evolution mixed up with changes within a species.              Who mentioned biological evolution. The observation directly from God's       2nd revelation is quite simple, do try to follow. For example; any of the       dino species from some 60 million years ago do not now exist. Any f       today's species did not exist then.              The species in the past 60 millionn years did not remain constant; but       which ones existed at any time changed. That makes no reference to       biological evolution as explanation; it is only to direct observation at       any time period.              >For       >example, a dog living in a very warm climate has a thin coat on. But       >move him up to Antarctica and he will grow a thick coat. That is not       >evolution. It is just changes built in the DNA. After this, it is       >still a dog.              A short answer, nonsense. Did the jw vatican really try to teach you that       or is it just your current guess ? You will find *no* person in the       socalled "young earth creation" groups who will agree with you on that       dog fairy tale. Features of dog coats do not change if moved from alaska       to florida.              Here is the short version, domestigated dogs have been around for some 15k       years. Each variety/breed emerged to serve a particular function valuable       to those who domesticated them for hunting etc. during that time span.              Humans chose in each litter to breed those with the desired features for       the function they wanted. That process in all domesticated animals was       exactly the same. Humans continue to choos which animals to breed even       now. Any farm kidd can tell you that.              Fyi, plants such as grains/lentles etc. now exibit their various       features/functions for the same selective breeding reason. Domesticated       animal/plant varieties originated from their wild forms, some of which       have survived in that form.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
