   Friend james can answer a question about the origin of the word "cross"   
   used in NT scripture:   
      
   He said historically sometime later after the NT was written its shape was   
   changed in meaning to the roman cross exicution device from greek "pole".   
      
   That explains why 99.99 percent of transilations use the word "cross" to   
   mean the roman shape device instead of an erect greek pole .   
      
   Friend james; let's test that theory, when was it "changed" and by whom?   
   I'm not asking about the greek word for "pole"; just when the change in   
   meaning happend and who did it?
