   They are spelled out in revelation; only virgin jewish men.  12 k from each   
   of 12 tribes of israel.   
      
   The jw vatican says the "virgin jewish men" is only a symbolic part and to   
   be ignored..  The 12 tribes is also symbolic, apparently if the "virgin   
   jewish men" is symbolic any mention ofjews from 12 tribes must be made   
   symbolic also.   
      
   That leaves the 144 k number the only literalthing to be accepted.  Why   
   then are the numbered 12 k from each of 12 tribes suddenly sybolic numbers   
   and not literal?   
      
   Easy, in about 1930 pope rutherford I of the jw vatican suddenly invented a   
   new theory.  Only 144 k people since the tine of Christ will go to heaven   
   to rule over all jw remainingg on earthafter all other humans are murdered.   
      
   Yup, he had to rescue the 144 k as not symbolic with every other part of   
   the entire description jus "symbolic".  His theory *demands* the 144 k   
   alone to be literal, and so he declared it to be *true*., and so has it   
   been since by jw vatican a papal infallable decree from the lips of one
