   On this morning I was driving to church I stopped at a corner with a red   
   light.   
      
   At the corner there was a person in a wheel chair.  He had a sign saying   
   something like 'veteran'.   
      
   A that point I was thinking, 'are there not government programs for   
   veterans'?  If he is disabled are there not programs that help such   
   people to work?  Then I was thinking, maybe he has both shelter and   
   an array of programs that pay him a vast amount of money anyway.  I   
   do not know.   
      
   Anyway I opened my wallet and found a small amount of currency -   
   a bill with a number '5' on it.  The window crank on my car door   
   was off and I was thinking of opening the door to give him some   
   money but I then heard someone behind me honking the horn.  I then   
   drove on and did not give him any money.  I was thinking, 'this   
   kind man behind me was saving me from throwing my money away'   
   but was thinking of this as a joke.   
      
   Perhaps the people of the world are controlled by machines   
   called 'television sets' and 'radios' that they worship as gods.   
   There are between 150,000 and 200,000 people in the world that   
   die every day.  Let us pray for them.  No television sets or   
   radios will give them even remotely the time of day when they   
   are passing.
