In the Old Testament everyone that worshipped the most High God sacrificed
according to the will of God. Remember Cain and Abel, their issues, Job,
Abraham, Issac and Jacob plus ALL the Hebrews in Egypt who worshipped God,
and these people did it before there was the Covenant of Law.

Remember Noah, and the reason he brought more of the clean animals on the Ark
Did he not sacrifice to God when His feet touched dry ground?

All those people and more did this for the sacrifice for their sins, by Faith
in the promise Christ to come. Even though they did not know His Name.

The king that was mentioned above knew full well he was honoring pagan gods
thus he was bringing problems to his own people. But the person that quoted
that verse is suspect as to their understanding.
