   Friend james says the ideas of the afterlife of 1st century jewes are not   
   reflected in it.  Howo does he know, its only a parable don't you know.  He   
   wants what jews knew and Christ used to disappear; it refuts a jw vatican   
   theory of that afterlife.   
      
   Alas he just refuted a main jw vatican theory to excuse a strict top down   
   command and control structure.  The 9 men of the jw college of cardinals   
   are the *only* channel to God.  What they say is what God says don't you   
   know about *all* aspects of jw behavior. and ideas.   
      
   How's that you ask, causue the verse snip of the "faithful discreet slave"   
   is   
   found in a parable.  That is what the college of cardinals call themselves.   
      
   The version in Matthew is used but another one is in Luke.  Friend james'   
   weekend homework was to read that one and see if it is not a parable also.
