   Most people hate rats, but they're extremely resilient and intelligent   
   and adaptable. That sometimes makes them overbearing, and the same is   
   true of humans. They are heavy-handed, but very talented. If they   
   could mitigate their desire to survive a bit, so they didn't   
   pre-emptively wipe out everything around them, I think they'd be pretty   
   cool. Let's try and give 'em a chance to evolve, eh? They can still   
   turn out alright with a little coaching. Their spiritual potential,   
   like their destructive potential, is unlimited.
