        Agreed that Buddhism doesn't settle for things as they are.   
   Worldly existence is the problem in the Four Noble Truths:   
   birth is dukkha, death is dukkha, aging is dukkha, so forth and   
   so on.  The source of trouble is the craving that leads to   
   rebirth, the solution is the end of same, and the Eightfold Way   
   is the means to that end.
