        He means he was interested in starting an argument, but he   
   got bored when it went badly for him.  His assertion the   
   Buddha never suffered is contradicted by the sutta I quoted, so   
   the best he can do is label me a fundie and say that he   
   doesn't care.  Apparently he can't admit his dogma isn't always   
   gospel truth.
