        Then you were dead wrong for the reason I already explained.   
   To repeat, a puritan is "a person with censorious moral   
   beliefs, esp. about pleasure and sex."  Puritans don't object to   
   cold showers, hard work, and other varieties of physical   
   experience in keeping with their morality.  Let me know when you   
   start to catch on.
