        Turning others into examples doesn't indicate that Jigme's   
   learned his lesson.

        Jigme's attachment to suffering is very Christian, and his   
   attachment to others' suffering is doubly so.  Neither one   
   represents any kind of progress, so I'd have to say that he was   
   just boasting.
