        Short summary.  You started by trying to blunt the sharply   
   critical perspective on worldly existence in the Four Noble   
   Truths, and you finished -- though you can't stop yourself from   
   going on -- by re-routing the Middle Way to make it a   
   compromise about life life rather than a road leading away from
