        Maybe they do.  Most of these arguments have concerned the   
   value of worldly existence as discussed in the Four Noble   
   Truths, the Book of Job, etc., with the locals trying to defend   
   life in this world against the perspectives in those   
   scriptures -- or rather misrepresenting the scriptures to avoid   
   arguing with them.
