Over time one by one they began       to fail -- nichiji went to china and dissapeared, nichiko left the       school and went to a different buddhist school, etc. It's all very       confusing.              This happens all the time in buddhism. Like with huineng, he had to run       for his life after he was passed the robe and bowl. It's not that the       truth was in the robe and bowl -- the truth was in huineng, so therefore       he had the robe and bowl. I suspect this situation is similar and will       work itself out over time.              As history has shown, it was huineng who had the real robe and bowl. I       think history will show who has the transfer box, and who has the truth.       For now I am not concerned at all what happens to the political       organizations trying to assert themselves. They have clearly looked       outside of themselves, and into a little wooden box, for the truth.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
