|    King of kings and Lord of lords    |

From: allan-sv@algonet.se               King of kings and Lord of lords              The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they       that dwell therein. Psalm 24:1. Jesus Christ is Lord and King of the       whole earth. He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of       every creature. Col. 1:15. "He was in the world, and the world was       made by him, and the world knew him not. He came into his own,       and his own received him not." John 1:10-11.              When a people does not want to receive God's grace and mercy, and       does not take notice of his rebuke, then God let that people get such       a government and leaders that the people are worth. Please, read       1 Samuel 8:4-22 and 2 Thess. 2:8-12. God will let this ungodly       world get what it wants. This world shall get another king instead of       the King whom this world has crucified and rejected, a king that       the people itself may choose. Then, if the people cry to the Lord for       that king, which they have chosen, whose mark they have on their       hands and foreheads, then the Lord will not hear them. Please,       read Amos 8:11-12 and Zechariah 7:8-13.              Jesus came in his Father's name. The world did not accept him,       but when the Antichrist comes in his own name, then the world       will accept him. John 5:43. 2 John 7.              In John 18:4-9 we can see the enormous difference between Jesus       and the kings of this world. When an enemy attacks a kingdom,       then the king sends out his soldiers and let the people fight for the       king and country. Nevertheless, Jesus did not do in that way.       He said, "I am he: if therefore ye seek me, let these (his disciples)       go their way." Then he alone went against the enemy. Alone he       took up the fight against the enemy. Alone he won victory on the       cross, and obtained eternal redemption for us. There was none of       his people that was killed in the fight. The King alone fought for       his people. Therefore he could say, "Of them which thou gavest       me have I lost none."              Saul slew his thousands, and David his then thousands. 1 Samuel       18:7, 29:5. But Jesus is glorious before then thousands. Solomon's       Song 5:10. (According to the Swedish Bible.) He has slain the       devil himself and disarmed all the spiritual forces of evil. Col. 2:15.              A king of this world can overcome an enemy because his people are       willing to fights for the king and native country, but in the Kingdom       of God it is on the contrary. We can live in victory over the sin,       2 Cor. 2:14, and resist the devil, James 4:7, and overcome the world,       1 John 5:5, because our King has won victory.                     Allan Svensson              If you have any questions after reading of this article       Please, visit my Web Site              http://www.algonet.se/~allan-sv/INDEX.HTM              What shall happen before Jesus comes?       http://www.algonet.se/~allan-sv/BEFORE.HTM              What is a revival?
