|    Come out of the Great Babylon!    |
|    25 Jan 04 08:09:57    |
From: allan-sv@algonet.se               Come out of the Great Babylon!              "Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and       that ye receive not of her plagues." Rev. 18:4. This must happen before       Jesus comes. After Jesus' coming it cannot happen, for then God's people       are home at the Lord, and there is no Babylon to come out from. 2 Cor.       6:14-18 contains the same message to God's people.              These bible words have been in the Bible all the time, but it seems to be       very difficult for God's people to understand this and practise it.       Nevertheless, the time is getting on, and we come to a point of time there       we cannot neglect this any longer. All those who believe in Jesus and       want to live for him, and be ready for his coming, they must understand       this, and practise this.              What is Babylon the Great, the great whore? From where shall we go       out? This ought to be an unnecessary question. Every preacher ought       to have preached about this, and every Christian ought to know this.              Is it God's will that his people shall take this on earnest, and do as it is       written in 2 Cor. 6:14-18 and in Rev. 18:4 ? The answer on this       question must be YES. This must imply that all Christians must leave       all churches and denomination before Jesus comes. Those that do not       obey this command of the Lord make them accessory in the sins of the       great harlot, and they come to get part of her plagues.              Many Christians read in newspapers and see in TV what that happens       in the world, and that the Antichrist and his government can appear       anytime. Nevertheless, they do nothing to prepare themselves. Have       they understood that the Antichrist also will take the control over       churches and denominations? How many Christians have withdrawn       their membership in denominations and churches and left the religious       harlot-being? Do they think become slaves under the Antichrist?              Churches and denominations are not from God. They have come to       existence through the people's lack of wisdom and disobedience of       God's word, and they are founded on a false doctrine. Therefore, God       can permit the Antichrist to take control over churches and denominations.       Nevertheless, God will release his people from there. It is possible to be       free from the religious harlot-being because God hears prayers, and he       can appear the truth to us. "But the anointing which ye have received       of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any men teach you: but as       the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no       lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him."              Someone wrote and asked how the fellowship will be among those that       leave churches and denominations. He wondered how I shall help them       to get any fellowship, or shall they only sit for himself and herself?              Obviously, I cannot show them any certain place and say, go there or       there to get fellowship. I can refer only to God's word. If we walk in       the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and       the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1 John 1:5-7.              Most of those who confess they are Christians do not walk in the light       and do not want to hear the truth about the Assembly of God. Then we       cannot have fellowship with them. A fellowship which does not endure       the light is no Christian fellowship.              The question about fellowship in this connection is stupid. When I want       to know something about the Assembly of God, then it is not fellowship       I am seeking, but just the truth about the Assembly of God. Then I must       count with, and accept that I can become alone.              Fellowship is easy to find. In churches and denominations the fellowship       is more important than God's word. All that want to have fellowship are       welcome to both Pentecostal churches and other free-churches. If you       believe on church and infant baptism, or denomination doctrines, or if       you are catholic, it has no importance, only you want to have fellowship.              Nevertheless, if you yearn after knowledge of the Assembly of God, and       ask for something concerning the assembly, then you are not welcome.       Such they comprehend as criticism. Instead of education about the       assembly of God, you get only questions to answer.              Most preachers have for a long time ago stopped struggling for the       Bible's truths, and their sermons have lost its salinity. The truth of       baptism in water that many Christians have given their life for, it       stands not in a high quotation at ecumenic conferences. The question       is, if any Baptist pastor or a Pentecostal pastor dares mention anything       about this biblical truth, in presence of Lutheran priests or catholic       priests. The ecumenicalism is a comfortable way to hell. They need not       exert themselves, only drift with the current as dead fish.              Those that are reading my website and understand that they must leave       church and the denomination in which they are members, they come also       to meet resistance. Pastors and denomination leaders and other members       try talk round them to stay left. But it is more important that you hold       firm       at God's word, and that you are "outside the camp" (Hebr. 13:13), than       that you have fellowship with people on whom you not can rely. It is no       ways that become left in a church organization and simultaneously live in       freedom. Leaving the organization is better, also if you must become alone.              When the Assembly of God leaves the great harlot, it will not be any       collective marching out. Every Christian must decide to leave church.       You yourself must decide to leave church. Do not wait that your friends       or other Christians shall go first, so that you can slink out along with       them.       For it is not only an organizing withdrawal from the church, but you must       be free from the catholic harlot-spirit within the church.              If you want to be free from the religious harlot-being, you have not only to       contend against a false doctrine. It is a struggle against the spiritual       powers       of evil. Our "coming out of the great Babylon" is in the first hand a       spiritual       release. Eph. 6:10-18. The Sword of the Spirit that we will use is God's       word.              If we want to come to heaven, then we may contend for the faith which was       once delivered unto the saints. Jude v. 3. 1 Tim. 6:12.                            If you have any questions after reading of this article       Please, visit my Web Site              http://www.algonet.se/~allan-sv/CONTENTS.HTM              (Article 81.)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
