|    The Assembly of God is no church    |
|    07 Mar 04 06:54:35    |
From: allan-sv@algonet.se               The Assembly of God is no church              Some people mean that I do the same mistake as those who have       established churches. But I do not try to establish any church or any       denomination. I have written about restoration of the Assembly of       God, the Body of Christ.              God had chosen us in Christ before the foundation of the world.       Eph. 1:3-7. Accordingly, God had begun his planning for the       Assembly all ready before he created the world, and when Jesus       baptized his first disciples with the Holy Spirit, then the Assembly       of God was born, and the same day about three thousand were       added to the Assembly. Since then has God had a living Assembly       on the earth. How then can anyone say that the Assembly of God       is a new church? When the Assembly of God has been restored and       all Christians have come out from all churches and denominations,       neither then the Assembly is any new church. No, it is the same       Assembly born on the day of the Pentecost and that has been living       here on the earth generation after generation.              Since I left the Pentecostal Movement I have had this as my       permanent prayer and aim: - Restoration of the Assembly of God       and a complete victory against the religious harlot-being. This is       Revival, that all Christians wake up and prepare themselves to meet       Jesus when he comes. The Christians must be free from all churches,       denominations and religious sects, so that the Assembly of God is       ready when Jesus comes. "Come out of her, my people, that ye be       not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."       Rev. 18:4. This must take place before Jesus comes. After Jesus'       coming it cannot happen for then the Assembly of God is home       at the Lord.              The local Assemblies of God are not the same as the Free-Churches       or other churches. God does not live in temples, build by hands.       Acts 17:24. He does not live in temples, build of wood or stone.       We Christians that believe in Jesus and love him is God's temple,       the Assembly of God. 1 Cor. 3:16-17, 6:19-20. God does not live       in the walls of the church, but he dwells in our hearts through faith.       Eph. 3:17.              All those who belong to Jesus on a place are an Assembly of God       on that place. Jesus knows who that belongs to him and he knows       where the boundary between the Assembly of God and the world is.       Establishment of any new assembly is not necessary, but it is time       for restoration of the Assembly that exists. This did not happen       when they established the Free-Churches. Then they established       anything besides the denomination that all ready existed, and so       they still more divided the Christians.              The great church systems that appear as any sort of authorities and       representatives of God, they are not from God. By their fruit (their       deeds) we will recognize them. Matt. 7:16-20. The churches have       always been against God's work.              When God restores the Assembly, then it is in the first hand a       spiritual releasing. Spiritual powers of evil hold the Christians       bound to churches and denominations and they want to hinder       the restoration and unification of the Assembly. We must conquer       these spiritual powers of evil, and it is through to unmask them       that we can win victory over them.              When the Holy Spirit by God's word reveals the truth, then the       devil's false doctrines and lies become unmasked, yet only to the       humble. It demands humility before God's word to understand       the truth. Humbleness is that be susceptible to teaching.       Psalm 25:8-14. James 4:6.              Like as we must be on our guard against occultism, we must also       be on our guard against the harlot-Christianity so that we do not       open for the spirits of evil that rule in the churches. They are       spirits of spiritual blindness and bluntness, pride, fear, enviousness,       suspiciousness and disbelief. They want to hinder people from       understanding of God's word. They confuse people and give them       a wrong way of thinking so that they use wrong names on things.       Many say the Church of Christ and do not know that it is the       Church of Satan. What the Bible tells about the Assembly of God       they apply to the churches.              The churches are founded on a wrong doctrine and they did not       build them up according to the pattern, which is valid for the       Assembly of God. Their membership cards are no free tickets to       heaven. If the members in the Free-Churches burnt up all their       membership cards and lists of members, it would not affect their       membership in the Assembly of God.              We must be like radical against the harlot-Christianity compared       with the spiritualism. It is the same devil behind. There is no certain       boundary between the church-Christianity and the spiritualism. It is       only a religious theatre. The using of candles occurs both in churches       and among spiritualists to produce a solemn atmosphere. In Christian       meetings candles have no other function than as lighting. We get a       solemn atmosphere through the Holy Spirit and through God's word.              To unite and restore the Assembly, God's people must be released       from all churches and denominations. Like as we cannot agree that       Christians are bound of alcoholism or the occult, we cannot agree       that Christians are bound to any church. Why are we Christians       bound to the religious harlot-being when we can be free? It is for       freedom that Christ has set us free. "Stand fast therefore in the liberty       wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again       with the yoke of bondage." Gal. 5:1."Ye are bought with a price;       be not yet the servant of men."1 Cor. 7:23.              Some Christians mean that I am against Christian love and fellowship,       but that is not true. I have not exhorted anyone to leave the Christian       fellowship. When we believe in Jesus, it is natural that we wish       fellowship with other Christians. Nevertheless, I do not want to live       in a fellowship outside God's word. What I have written here on the       Web site is a result of many years of prayer and struggle. I will not       deny or reject what God has given me certainness of only for the       sake of fellowship. A fellowship, which does not stand the truth,       is no Christian fellowship.              Someone wrote to me and meant that I exhort Christians to leave       the churches but do not show "anything instead." I answered, when       the Lord released me from the Pentecostal Movement, then he       neither showed me "anything instead." Nevertheless, he showed       me a way out from the religious harlot-being. Glory to Jesus!       Never at any occasion I have regret that I left the harlot-being,       or longed back to the bondage. On the contrary, I have felt       disappointment at other members have not left the bondage yet.                            If you have any questions after reading of this article       Please, visit my Web Site              http://www.algonet.se/~allan-sv/CONTENTS.HTM              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
