|    Two sorts of love    |
|    13 Oct 04 06:04:17    |
From: allan-sv@algonet.se               Two sorts of love              Some people's opinion is that my articles are loveless, but I am       only delighted and thankful for that criticism. I am thankful to       the Lord that they cannot find the sort of love in my articles that       they are looking for.              Some people can be very kindly and have a correct language and       self-imposed worship, but that is no sign of a Christian love. Please,       read Rom. 16:17-18 and Col. 2:18-23. We can read in Luke 11:37-54       how Jesus rebuked the Pharisees and the teachers of the law. Surely       they thought that Jesus could have been more kindly with them, for       they had in all cases given him a meal food. But it is not possible       to bribe Jesus, he says the truth yet.              A sure sign for a Christian love is the love to the Lord and his word.       Jesus is the Word, and if we do not love God's word, then we neither       love Jesus. John 1:1-14. Jesus says in Matt. 10:37-39, "He that loveth       father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth       son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh       not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that       findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake       shall find it."              If we have the love of Christ, then we also love the Body of Christ       and are longing for seeing it be built-up according to the pattern.       What is the pattern of God's temple? It is all that the Bible teaches       about the Body of Christ, or God's temple. Eph. 4th Chapter and       Hebr. 8th Chapter. And we receive thankfully the teaching the       apostle Paul gives us in 2 Cor. 6:14-18. But then we are accused       of being severe and loveless, just because we want to follow       God's word and do not believe what they preach in the churches.              In 1 Cor. 13:4-6 we can read how the true love is. "Charity       suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth       not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly;       seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;       Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth."              The false love of the great whore (Rev. 17th and 18th Chapter)       is on the contrary. In the harlot-love, there are impatience,       contrariness and enviousness. The harlot-love is impolite and       self-seeking. It keeps watch of its own church, its own       denomination. And it is an obstacle for the rising and the       edification of the Body of Christ. The harlot-love is suspicious       and has a grudge against supposed injuries. It does not rejoice       in the truth, but in unrighteousness it suppresses the truth and       demand that people shall follow church traditions instead of       obeying God's word.              If we must keep silent with some bible truth "for the sake of love"       and for not to disturb the fellowship, then it is not any Christian       fellowship. The Christian fellowship becomes stronger the more       radical God's words are preached.              God's word teaches us to forgive and love one another, but we       do not need to forgive and love the devil. We must resist the devil       and combat him with the weapon that God has given us. Eph.       6:10-18. James 4:7. We must also resist and combat the tools       that the devil uses to divide and enslave the Christians. By the       power of God's word we can with frankness unmask and attack       churches and denominations, and help people to be free from       there.              Some ones have pointed out to me that we must distinguish       between the believing and the churches to which they belong, and       not to condemn the members along with the church system. But       the problem is that the church members are not willing to leave       church. They cannot see the difference between people and churches.       They feel as one with the church to which they belong, and they       cannot distinguish between a point at issue and a personal attack.       When I mention anything about the doctrine of the church, they       apprehend it as an attack against themselves. At once they cry       out, do not judge!              Those who are so quick to give prominence to that we shall not       judge, what are they doing? They defend the religious fraud and       condemn the truth! It does not give evidence of love to Jesus or       to the Body of Christ. They have no teaching to give regarding       the Body of Christ and they explain nothing. Nevertheless, they       are willingly to determine and command and pretend that they       know anything.              What I have written here is not any condemnation over anyone,       and there are no honest Christians who feel hurt or take offence       at this. This is eagerly awaited and releasing truths for God's       people. I want to help people to be free from the religious       harlot-being. The truth will set them free. But it is not enough       that we read or listen to the truth, we must also acknowledge       the truth and act according to the truth.              If we have an honest longing for being free from church tradition       thinking, then we can be free because God listens to our prayers       and the Holy Spirit reveals the truth of the Body of Christ.                            If you have any questions after reading of this article       Please, visit my Web Site              http://www.algonet.se/~allan-sv/CONTENTS.HTM              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
