         Psalm 121:3–4}–> The Lord is your protector, and   
   he won't go to sleep or let you stumble. The protector of Israel doesn't   
   doze or ever get drowsy. -CEV-   
         Sometimes God seems distant. Mayb He's angry with us.   
   So He turns His back on us. Or worse, falls asleep listening to our   
   complaints. No. Never.   
         God is not like that. That psalmist reminds us that   
   God is constantly aware of our every need. He is continually at work in   
   our lives, whether we feel it or not.   
         In fact, we can't even slip without His knowing it.   
   And if we are truly walking in His strength, we won't lose our footing   
   anyway.   
         God doesn't sleep. He doesn't leave His people without   
   protection and care while He catches some sleep. He is ever vigilant,   
   ever watchful, ever aware of you. Your hurts, your emotions, your needs,   
   your fears.
