That is whey they were disfellowshipped. They       >were "unreliable" in following the Bible. JW's don't say to murder them       >or something. They can live a happy life outside of JW's. JW's just want       >to keep the religion as clean as possible. When bad ones are found out       >(even those in charge), they are removed. As Paul put it at 1 Cor 5:13,              Interesting, this puts jw history in sharp focus, no?              When in 1954 the jw pope did a flip flop on scripture saying Christ should       no longer be worshiped, did he under go inspection for heresy?              Scripture did not change after 1954 years, just his opinion directly in       oppisition to *all* jw before him, no?              >"But those who are outside, God judges. But you can be influenced       >by a 'spiritually diseased' person. Notice these statements:       >       >"6 How can we protect ourselves against false teachers? The Bibleâs       >counsel regarding how to deal with them is clear. (Read Romans 16:17;       >2 John 9-11.) âAvoid them,â says Godâs Word. Other translations render       >that phrase âturn away from them,â âkeep away from them,â and âstay away       >from them!â There is nothing ambiguous about that inspired counsel.       >Suppose that a doctor told you to avoid contact with someone who is       >infected with a contagious, deadly disease. You would know what the       >doctor means, and you would strictly heed his warning. Well, apostates       >are âmentally diseased,â and they seek to infect others with their       >disloyal teachings. (1 Tim. 6:3, 4) Jehovah, the Great Physician, tells       >us to avoid contact with them. We know what he means, but are we       >determined to heed his warning in all respects?" (watchtower, 2011,       >7/15, p. 16)       >       >Look at it this way, if you belonged to a club, and one person said "I       >don't agree with any rules of this club". Would they keep him in the       >club? I seriously doubt it.              Oh dear, poof; there goes the 1954 jw pope; out on his ear we say, no?>       >       >> Friend james appears very often to be uninformed about jw mattters not       >> spoon fed him, no?       >>       >       >That is your errored opinion.              Friend james, you make me smile. To address the question of "mentally       diseased" you went to the watch tower to know how to respond, no? Those       were not your thoughts, they were jw pope thoughts.              Spoon fed son, spoon fed I say.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
