   Nice, you completely blew past verse 20 which specified for whom he was   
   praying.   
      
   Personally I am grateful that he prayed such for me, as well as all others   
   from that time on who are and were willing to receive from the Lord.   
      
   “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye   
   sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.” (Jas 4:8)   
      
   Here is another promise of the Heavenly Father. One that I depend on, also   
   stated in the OT times.   
      
   God is no respecter of person, what he does for one he is willing to do for   
   all. So why should anyone cut off their nose to spite their face?
