   THE GREAT APOSTASY ?   
      
   St Paul, in one of His Epistles, said that some day the church would   
   experience "THE GREAT APOSTASY".   
   In all of church history,lets say,in the middle of the 20th century, the   
   church had experienced ups and downs but had never experienced THE GREAT   
   APOSTASY. I am, this year, 70 years of age. I received my most significant   
   former religious education in the school year of 1952-1953.We studied   
   catechism,church history,and lives of some saints,the last two subjects were   
   most interesting. For those years and sometime afterward we had nothing but   
   the traditional "LATIN MASS".   
      
   In those instructional years we were taught the Corporal & Spiritual Works   
   of Mercy;but they were taught outside the content of The Commandments ! I   
   remember very well to this day,what we were taught because,after class,I   
   contemplated them and thought,what nice deeds they were and that I should   
   certainly do these things at times. Those were nice thoughts; but were   
   inadequate. Do you know The Corporal And Spiritual Works of Mercy? In what   
   follows you will see they are necessary Commandments to know!   
      
   In Matthew 25 of the Bible we have a scene on Judgment Day where the Judge,   
   Jesus,gathers the sheep & goats. He uses the Corporal (bodily needs) Works   
   of Mercy for judgment. On His right a His Sheep who've done these things   
   (feed the hungry, clothe the naked, ect.), on His left are the goats whom He   
   condemns because they did not do these things. You should be convinced that   
   these ARE COMMANDMENTS since we will be judged that way.I was taught   
   incorrectly in 1952 !   
      
   It should be interesting to you, that in one of my church history books,a   
   pagan man, in Europe in the year 900 AD stated that he did not want the   
   Catholic Church to do any good! In tracing back the 20th century, it appears   
   that the Corporal & Spiritual Works of Mercy began to be taught incorrectly   
   & escalated from there.   
   If you'll remember, Our Lady of Fatima said to"sacrifice all you can",   
   apparently to combat the beginning of the end to the Works of Mercy as   
   Commandments. Yes, I was taught incorrectly in 1952 !   
      
   Since that time we've gotten much worse;Communion in the hand is from the   
   Arian Heresy of the 4th century Roman Empire which nearly destroyed The   
   Church, save from a few good Bishops at the time. To top it all off, these   
   days, we have Priests,the Bishops & even the Pope saying the Mass   
   incorrectly. I also learned in 1952, correctly, the most important words of   
   the mass is what the Priest must necessarily say, he must say;"THIS IS MY   
   BODY",well they still say this! How- ever, the Priest also say "THIS IS MY   
   BLOOD". But they no longer say this, they either say "this is the cup of my   
   Blood" or this is the chalice of my blood"-completely incorrect. We have now   
   a Great Heresy in the Latin Church; we no longer have a legitimate Mass.   
   This is the time of the Great Apostasy! There are other subversive things   
   today in the Latin-Rite Church. I won't go into them.   
      
   You had better realize that there are 14 Legitimate Catholic Rites in the   
   Catholic Church. Look for them; that's all you have for your salvation these   
   days make sure the Eastern Rite Priest is saying the critical words   
   correctly, if he is, join that Eastern Church,it is your salvation! In a   
   pinch, it is also possible to attend an Orthodox Church, as they have had   
   legitimate Priests and Bishops. but one can never join the Orthodox Church   
   as they are still schismatic!   
      
   Another point of Our Lady of Fatima is that "Russia will provoke wars,"many   
   nations will be annihilated". The agreement  by Russia with N. Korea, to   
   furnish them with fissionable materials for their nuclear reactor exactly   
   fits what Our Lady said. Korea will instigate WW III-nuclear war! Also check   
   with the story of "Our Lady of Akita! I'm saying this to inform you that you   
   will need a fallout shelter, consult with your State Civil Defense people!
