   First of all, he was an inflammatory, hate-inciting shitbag. There is no doubt   
   that his speech has inspired political violence by far-right-wingnut extremists   
   against "leftists." And in fact, the suspected killer in Kirk's murder is an   
   adherent of a movement that despised Kirk because they don't feel he was   
   hateful   
   enough. Kirk's rhetoric has played a huge part in inciting right-wingnut   
   political violence.   
      
   But secondly, there is Kirk's flat-out excuse making for mass shootings and   
   individual shootings. Kirk is *on record* saying that *annual* mass shootings   
   are just the "price we have to pay" for keeping the second amendment; he called   
   it a "prudent deal." To be honest and consistent, extremist right-wingnut gun   
   fondlers like scooter are obliged to say that Kirk's gun murder is *also* part   
   of that "price we have to pay."
