|    Howie Carr: Jimmy Kimmel's clown show de    |

XPost: alt.disney, sac.politics, alt.politics.trump       XPost: alt.fan.rush-limbaugh, talk.politics.guns       From: jorge@si.not              I've watched Jimmy Kimmel on TV exactly as many times as I've watched       Stephen Colbert, which is to say, never.              Nonetheless, I couldn't be happier about what's happened to this       ratings-challenged alleged "comedian." What goes around, comes around,       and by the way, it wasn't President Trump who fired him, it was       ABC/Disney.              He's not even fired, just "suspended." Do you know how badly you have to       behave to get "suspended" by Disney?              This is a disgraceful, shameless corporation that still employs the       shrews on The View, George Slopadopoulos and even "newsman" Matt Gutman,       the McAlberts' pom-pom boy who's now developed a teenybopper-like crush       on both Charlie Kirk's killer and his trans boyfriend.              Yet all the above are still gainfully employed, and Kimmel sleeps with       the fishes.              You know why? Because he lied.              On Monday night, Kimmel went on his piss-poor show and said this about       the murder of Charlie Kirk:              "The MAGA gang (is) desperately trying to characterize the kid who       murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them."              That is a lie, a Big Lie in fact, nothing more than Democrat agitprop.       What he spewed out was not a mistake, not an error, but a flat-out,       despicable lie.              To quote the late Democrat Sen. Daniel Patrick Moynihan on public lying:              "You are entitled to your own opinion. But you are not entitled to your       own facts."              Exactly. But Kimmel and his ilk have never faced any consequences for       their appalling misbehavior. None of them ever absorbed the old       schoolyard lesson, don't let your mouth write a check your ass can't       cash.              This long-overdue takedown of a no-talent Democrat fraud was not started       by Trump, or even by his FCC commissioner, Brendan Carr. It was a big       television-station operator, Nexstar, which owns a lot of ABC affiliates       in red states. And now they're trying to buy a bunch of other stations,       for which they will need FCC approval.              Nexstar pulled the plug on the crap show, and then Sinclair, a more       conservative company, followed suit. Carr is just shooting the wounded       (figuratively), not that there's anything wrong with that, when you're       dealing with someone as loathsome (and not funny) as Jimmy Kimmel.              Remember, Kimmel is the same guy who did a victory lap when Tucker       Carlson got fired by the RINOs at Fox News in 2023.              "What an absolutely delightful shock this is," Kimmel gleefully said,       reading the lines written by his writers, "one of the most despicable       mother tuckers ever to appear on American television."              Sen. Chuck Schumer, who used to provide anti-Trump material for his       fellow parlor pink, immediately fainted when he heard the news about the       unwatched, unwatchable multi-millionaire.              "It is just outrageous," Schumer harrumphed on one of the       regime-controlled outlets. "This is just despicable, disgusting and       against democratic values. Trump and his allies seem to want to shut       down speech that they don't agree with."              That was last night. A few years ago, he was demanding that Tucker       Carlson be fired.              "Our democracy depends on it!" Schumer thundered. "Rupert Murdoch has a       special obligation to stop Tucker Carlson from going on tonight and from       letting him go on again and again and again."              Be careful what you wish for, Minority Leader.              Now the Democrats care about free speech. How about this headline from       Rolling Stone in 2023?              "Why Cancel Culture Is Good for Democracy."              By the way, what little remains of Rolling Stone had big layoffs this       week. Sometimes, karma can make you happy.              Odd how the Democrats were never worried in the least about freedom of       speech, or cancel culture, when they were trying to run all the rest of       us out of polite society.              I got tossed off YouTube over and over again during the COVID panic, for       citing the CDC's own statistics that nobody young was dying. Cancelling       all skeptics was Democrat policy - the Orwellian censorship was being       enforced by, among other governmental agencies, the FBI.              Speaking of the FBI, they started coming after me in 1975 for my       reporting on their COINTELPRO dirty-tricks program. The IRS first       threatened me in 1984, after a story based on grand-jury testimony made       my own indicted Democrat state rep look better.              Twitter (pre-Elon) censored me for trying to post about Nancy Pelosi's       Mafia father - it was a report from, ironically, the FBI.              I had to quit my Newsmax TV show in 2020 because I could no longer       afford my legal bills. I wasn't a defendant in the company's big case, I       was just a "witness," but so what? In lawfare, the process is the       punishment, even for a bit player like me.              Kimmel, if you're looking for sympathy, don't come crying to me. Unlike       you, I'm not a member of any protected classes.              The Democrats had no problems with using government to punish Wrong       Think as long as they're the ones running the Ministry of Truth. But now       they fervently believe in the Bill of Rights. They're First Amendment       absolutists.              "This is so serious!" the bloated Brian Stelter dithered on CNN, which       has even fewer viewers than Kimmel did.              Of course, Potato Head shrugged when Roseanne Barr was fired by the same       network - for a single tweet that offended a woman born in Iran. As for       another victim of Disney wokeness, actress Gina Carano, where were the       Beautiful People in Hollywood when she got canned for expressing       pro-American views?              Jimmy Kimmel, like Stephen Colbert and all the rest of them, was just a       useful idiot, until he wasn't. Now they're all being fired. They're       becoming... podcasters, like Joy Reid, Chuck Todd, Jim Acosta, etc.              As for Kimmel, my advice is, look on the bright side, Jimmy: getting       fired is the funniest bit you've ever done on TV.              And that's no lie.              https://www.bostonherald.com/2025/09/18/howie-carr-jimmy-kimmels-clown-sh       ow-demise-overdue/              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
