   I will simply note that what they want to add, is that which was recently   
   repealed by federal law.   
      
   So tell me.. why should a disgruntled minority be allow to try to blackmail   
   the majority?   
      
   I mean it being federal law means it was passed by Congress and signed into   
   law by the President.   
      
   Yet, they think that a minority should be able to get such a law repealed   
   because they want to play games with our money?   
      
   Go ahead.. you've given Trump the power to erase whole books of Democrat   
   spending with a stroke of his pen.   
      
   See in a shut-down the President and the Office of Management and Budget get   
   to unilaterally decide what spending is necessary and which is not. The   
   unnecessary spending is eliminated... gone.. no longer there.. even if a   
   budget passes later.. that spending is GONE.   
   It take a whole new bill along with passing Congress and being signed by the   
   President to reenact that spending.   
   You have given Trump the power to eliminate your spending.. and you may   
   never be able to get it back.   
   The longer this continues.. the worse it will be for Democrats, and the more   
   of their programs can be eliminated by Trump.   
   And right now.. polls show less than 35% of people support the Democrats in   
   this matter.
