   Hello Gremlin,

You are absolutely correct regarding the individual known as “Brock
McNuggets” (also referred to as “snit”). I’ve been following the
discussions for some time, and I too recently made the mistake of
responding to one of his posts—an interaction that quickly devolved into
   chaos.

After reading Brock’s disjointed and convoluted reply, which lacked any
grounding in fact, I decided to take a step back and do a bit of online
research into this “snit” persona. Not being familiar with Brock
McNuggets, I was unprepared for what I uncovered through some basic
search queries. To say the least, this individual presents one of the
most peculiar online personalities I’ve encountered—both on the internet
   and in real life.

It appears that the links previously shared provide an accurate
assessment of this person. Out of curiosity, I shared the thread I was
involved in with my sister, who is a board-certified and licensed
clinical psychologist, to get her professional perspective. (For context,
I did not share any of the external links or background information—only
   the conversation itself.)

We spoke for nearly an hour the following day. Her initial reaction,
half-jokingly, was to ask whether Brock was currently living freely or
perhaps institutionalized. When I mentioned that Brock claims to hold a
degree in psychology, she immediately noted that his writing reflected
the use of basic psychological manipulation techniques—tools often
employed to control the direction of a conversation.

In short, her assessment was that Brock, or “snit,” demonstrates traits
consistent with narcissistic and controlling behavior. He exhibits an
intense need to dominate discussions and an inability to concede a point,
even when clearly proven wrong. Some of the tactics she identified
included DARVO (Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender), projection,
selective focus on favorable arguments while ignoring contradicting
   evidence, and rigid, zero-sum thinking.

Given her usual hourly rate of around $200, “snit” should consider
himself fortunate for the complimentary analysis—though I suspect he’s
   heard similar feedback before.

In conclusion, it’s fair to say that “snit” appears to be an individual
with significant personal and psychological issues. I’ll leave it at
   that.
