Does anyone else love the monologues of Christian Bale's Patrick Bateman   
   character?   
      
   I find his over-analysis of 80's music in the film and penchant for high class   
   lifestyle (including his voice over thoughts of it all) an intriguing part of   
   the 2000 film version.   
      
   Reminds me of Nicolas Cage in 2005 The Weather Man or American Beauty 1999   
   with Kevin Spacey.   
      
   All three characters have in common: struggle with everyday life in terms of   
   job, family life, goals, ambitions, etc   
      
   It just really speaks to me on so many levels. Shame most of those films   
   weren't overly popular except two.   
      
   I liked it better than the book personally. I just got the book haha.
