Many people have survived falling from an airplane without a parachute,
so even that isn't 100%. Combining two methods is a good idea though.
For example; you can count on 5 bottles of sleeping pills to knock you
out without pain and anxiety, but not beyond rescue; and a breathe-down
exit bag is certain to work if you have time alone and don't take it off,
but there's the hypercapnic response to suffer through if you're
   conscious.
