   There are still functioning archives out there - ash.notearthday.com and   
   ash.xanthia.com at web.archive.org.   
   I'm only 16 myself and found out about this newsgroup (and Usenet in   
   general) two years ago. It amazes me how much freedom people had back   
   then, that you could openly discuss such topic, and not many people   
   would say a word against it. Now you can't talk about suicide freely   
   anymore, even online.
