   any medications. I had a suicidal depression in   
   early July of 1992 that was triggered by the   
   5 mg/day of haloperidol that I was on, and it   
   was eased by small amounts of alcohol and   
   ended when I came off the haloperidol and   
   switched to using the haloperidol only when needed.   
   (I am now on olanzapine and divalproex).
