   I used it for years until I bought a Windows 11 laptop and decided   
   Defender had advanced enough to be worthwhile. It did the job better than   
   McAfee or Norton. Both of those have become bloated CPU and memory hogs   
   little better than viruses.   
      
   I think this is more anti-Russia hysteria particularly for the consumer   
   market. I could ship every computer I own to Moscow and it would net them   
   zero intelligence information.
