China is a huge Hollywood       > market.              I don't believe the movie was ever released in China even with the       makeover. It needed more than swapping Chinese symbols. Supposedly it was       set in Spokane, WA but had scenes of the Wolverines in extensive hardwood       forests that don't exist in eastern Washington. It was filmed in Michigan.       At least the original wass set in Colorado and iirc the scenes looked like       Colorado.              I've been watching the 'Joe Pickett' series which is set in Wyoming but       filmed in Alberta. At least the landscape is somewhat similar. Of course       they couldn't leave it untouched. One might form a mental image of a       character named 'Nate Romanowski' that isn't a black with dreadlocks.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
