XPost: talk.politics.misc, alt.politics.usa       From: 186282@ud0s4.net              Many areas of Florida, soon Georgia/Carolina's, didn't       get TOO much rain from storm Helene. However that may       be a bit of an illusion.              Hurricanes are big kinda circular storms, BUT, if       you LOOK, you will notice they all have kinda long       "tails" reaching back to the southeast - maybe for       1000 miles.              These represent continued tropical moisture feeds.              They ALSO represent the possibility of a LONG       period of EXTREME rain.              In short, if the initial storm didn't drown       you, the 'tail' just MIGHT.              Sorry, no vast konspiracies involved, this is       just the facts of hurricanes.              Helene is HUGE ... so expect a BIG 'tail'.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
