Most mules are 7 years       old before they're fit for work. It's not something that happens       overnight. Then there are experienced packers. You don't just throw a pile       of junk on and hope for the best.              That stubborn thing is unfair. You can sweet talk a horse into almost any       stupid thing. A mule is smart enough not to fall for a line of shit. Like       people, some are slow learners though. There is a rig for carrying long       timbers on two mules with a swivel on the pack saddles so they can       navigate switchbacks and so forth. All the second mule has to do is keep       his head down and follow the leader but I watched one who just had to       raise his head to look around every now and then. Didn't hurt the timber       at all.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
