   I remember my mother being able to buy a week's worth of groceries for a   
   family of 5 for less than $20.00 back when Americans worked in the   
   chicken and meat processing plants and there were American butchers   
   working in grocery stores making a living wage.  So much for illegal   
   aliens making food "affordable".  It's noteworthy that an American   
   father of 6 kids could afford to buy a single family home in the U.S. on   
   one income back when Americans built those houses, and now with illegal   
   aliens doing all of the construction the cost of housing is beyond the   
   reach of most "Americans."
