If Iran has a weapon no       > heavier than the spy satellite, that is that: they can nuke the USA       > anytime they want.              The original poster, poor punctuation and all, was the person remarking       that nuclear fission bombs were 1940s technology, so my comment was       meant to be facetious, not as an insult to Iranian nuclear scientists or       rocket engineers.              Your history refresher is well taken and shows that you are a more       informed and educated person than your usual usenet comments would have       ever suggested.              It has crossed my mind over the years that if North Korea or Iran were       to use, say, a 25 kiloton fission bomb or bombs to take out, say NYC,       the District of Columbia, and perhaps London, Tel Aviv, and Brussels,       the irony might be that "far right" political parties in the former       "Free World" might see the acts as a net positive while the neo-cons       would join the far left types to indulge in expressing "outrage" at       Little Rocketman and the Ayatollah. It might make for a best seller       fictional thriller type novel at the very least. Sort of an       international genre in the spirit of the Turner Diaries.
