A lot of people in Flyover Country, or the people in inland areas of
California, Oregon and Washington who would like to secede from the
Maoists in the coastal cities might clap if New York City, Sacramento or
   DC were turned to glass.

I see Elon Musk as the kind of figure that American boys looked up to in
the era prior to the 1970s. A man who builds rockets to go to Mars is a
role model as were the Wright Brothers, Thomas Edison, and Werner von
Braun. He helped make cars cool again and moved his job creating
businesses out of California when Alameda County bureaucrats tried to
wield Covid regulations like a sledge hammer over his Fremont Tesla
factory. He has his flaws, but I wish him well. He stands up to bullies,
and I credit him for that.
