Hollow is in my -9999 file ATM but his point is wrong. Here is why.
Democrats are losing and polling at an all time low because they thought
they elected a more or less middle of the road candidate in Biden. And
that's pretty much what his entire career was. Don't make waves. Aside from
his racist comments of course.
And since people were worn out with the 24x7x365 Trump news cycle that the MSM
pushed for years, they were tired of it.
Again understandable.
Now here is what IMHO happened.
Biden, not by his own volition, pulled a bait and switch and went so
far left that in many issues he was left of Bernie.
Over the 4 years, that pissed off people as they felt they were lied to.
On top of that the democrats in general were pushing woke, DEI, open borders
men wearing dresses who think they are women and competing in women's sports,
indoctrination in schools, minors and trans crap and so forth.
The truth is the democrat party lost their base by going ultra far left.
Then you have Kamala as the candidate.
That speaks for itself, even if she can't.
So along comes Trump who is being attacked by the left from all sides with
court cases etc and still yet manages to make the best of it campaigning in NYC
during breaks.
The people saw what was going on and they started to at least respect Trump to
some degree instead of voting straight line democrat like NYC voters usually
do.
So back to the democrats.
Currently the party is fragmented, disorganized, has no leadership and is
unbelievably
doubling down on the very policies that lost them the last election.
They are polling horribly, not that I am a fan of polling. See 2016 for that
one.
You guys need leadership and a clear platform and direction and attacking Trump
24x7 again isn't going to work.
As for NYC specifically, I have no idea what is going on but if this Mamdani
manages
to pull off a win, and he very well might, NYC is sunk.
His policies will destroy the city.
Take just one of his communist policies, government owned grocery stores.
Sounds good on paper.
The problem is that it's been tried before and was a massive failure and waste
of money.
He is a radical left wing communist although he will, like most politicians,
say anything to
get elected.
Watch out.
