The Mustang was a       glorified Falcon and many of the original generation shipped with the       anemic 170 ci six. The 250 ci 6 in the 1st gen Camaro was a step up. It       got the job done.              I had a '73 Mustang that had more power than it knew what to do with.       Worst winter car I ever owned. It needed a couple of dead bodies in the       trunk for weight, but the trunk wasn't big enough to fit them.              When Ford shrunk the Mustang to the Mustang II abomination I switched to a       Camaro, then in '82 to a Firebird because I really like hatchbacks. I did       not like the new V-6 though.              Trust me, the 6s had enough meat to get a ticket anyplace in the country.       Good for me New Hampshire had no reciprocity; anything that happened       outside of NH stayed outside of NH. That really pissed off Maine. They       could suspend your right to drive in ME but not touch your license.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
