        I never saw any claim that they *prevent* transmission. If I have   
   a virus I've been vaccinated against, it won't harm me much, if at   
   all. But I can still pass it on to others. Especially early on during   
   the infection.

        Science can be, and often is, wrong early on in a study. As   
   knowledge increases, science changes its view. We all saw this in the
