I've run into cats several times but I don't fit the profile of       > fleeing prey like a jogger or biker might.                     I am pretty sure a mountain lion killed a doe in my neighbors front yard       across the street about 10 years ago and dragged it uphill into some bushes.              We had been out of town several days and when I came home and was       cutting grass I smelled it and found it there. Neighbor said he knew       and tried to get the highway dept. to remove it but they wouldn't       because it was not close to the road so he later had to do it himself.              I live on a cul-de-sac street and a car could not have done it. Besides       there were signs it was killed on the front lawn and dragged into the       bushes.              We do not live in the wilds but the cougar had been seen roaming around       here and in nearby state park.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
