   When I was a kid, not only were all the pictures and videos of communist   
   countries in black and white, but there seemed to be very few privately   
   passenger cars behind the "Iron Curtain" or in "Red China."  Lots of   
   people riding buses and bicycles or just plain walking.   
      
   It was said that when the movie "Grapes of Wrath" was shown in the USSR,   
   the workers noticed that even the most downtrodden Okies were driving   
   their own cars, so Stalin ordered the movie pulled from the theaters so   
   that the proletariat wouldn't notice that no matter how bad things were   
   in America, they were better than under communism.   
      
   It seems that the Democrats and their counterparts in Europe want to   
   turn the West into the USSR or Mao's Red China part II, with a few elite   
   at the top with their private jets, yachts, luxury cars, and exclusive   
   communities for the ruling class with everyone else treated like Gazans.
