   A few did, and in the case of one Japanese scientist, he lost his   
   tenured position at a major university and got cancelled on social media   
   for warning of the dangers of putting the General Electric NPP in an   
   area where a tsunami resulting from an earthquake had devastated coastal   
   fishing villages centuries before.  Many famous Japanese paintings from   
   that time depict the tsunami and some historians have made the case that   
   the same tsunami leveled a forest near the Pacific Ocean on the Oregon
