   Wizard World 2014: David Boreanaz reflects on 18-year TV run   
      
   WIZARD CON PHILLY has a very special guest this year, as Philly's own David   
   Boreanaz will make his first appearance at a Wizard show here.   
      
   "Yeah, I'm excited," said Boreanaz, best known for major or lead roles on   
   "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "Angel" and the still-going-strong "Bones." "I'm   
   looking forward to coming back home and spending some time with the fans   
   that come out."   
      
   "I remember from my days of doing 'Buffy' early on and going to San Diego   
   and it was new and it was small."   
      
      
   "How could I say no to Philadelphia," Boreanaz said. "It's my hometown."   
      
   Part of the reason Boreanaz has been unable to come to Wizard Con Philly   
   before this year is that since 1997 he has never had a year without having a   
   major role on a TV series. First there was "Buffy The Vampire Slayer"   
   (1997-2003), followed by the lead in the spinoff "Angel" (1999-2004) and   
   then "Bones" (2005-present), which Boreanaz says is in no danger of ending   
   anytime soon.   
      
   That's 18 years now with consistent TV work.   
      
   "Yeah," said Boreanaz. "It's very rare. Fortunately, it's been part of a   
   great ride."   
      
   "I would love to be Batman! That would be cool," he said. "I would love to   
   do a superhero movie! But I think it would have to be the right thing for   
   me."
